Crime Prevention Alert

Crime Prevention Alert

We would like to make residents aware of a burglary that occurred overnight on 2 October 2026 at a property on Armshead Road, Werrington.

While we do not want residents to be alarmed, we are asking everyone in the area to remain vigilant and take a few simple steps to protect their homes.

Before going to bed, consider getting into the habit of doing a quick security check:

🔒 Doors and windows locked?
🔑 Keys and valuables out of sight?
💡 Outside security lighting switched on?
🚪 Garage, shed and side gates secured?
📹 CCTV or doorbell camera working correctly?

Please also keep an eye out for your neighbours and report any behaviour that appears suspicious.

Together, small security measures and good neighbour awareness can help deter crime and keep our community safe.
